Emergency Department RN - 13 Week Contract

This position requires availability for all shifts, including a 7 AM start on Mondays with no exceptions. Candidates must also be flexible for 12-hour shifts if needed. The weekly requirement is 80 hours, with the possibility of floating to Long Term Care or ICU Department as required.

The Emergency Department RN will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves critical thinking and the ability to make quick decisions while caring for diverse patient populations. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal nursing care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Adhere to protocols and guidelines for patient safety and quality care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• Valid RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
