Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist in Savannah, GA. Use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures and support high-acuity patient care in a hospital-based angiography/interventional lab. You will operate and maintain imaging equipment, monitor patients during procedures, and assist the clinical team with complex endovascular and interventional cases.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of Interventional Radiology technologist experience with references.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• BLS certification required.
• State radiologic technologist license in good standing.
• Experience in critical care infusion (gtt) management and Angio/IR procedures, including stroke and trauma care (client-specific requirement).
• ICU or Emergency Department experience required for patient population served.
• Certifications required by the facility: ACLS and BLS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IVUS, Shockwave, AngioJet, and JetStream devices preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC/Cupid documentation preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00–17:30.
• Work schedule includes 4–10 hour shifts with call responsibilities.
• Patient ratio typically 1:1 in angiography/IR labs.
• Team model: multidisciplinary teams of approximately 3–4 persons (2 techs, 2 RNs ideal).

Impacting Patient Care Nationwide

As an IR Technologist, you will contribute to a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Certified Stroke Center serving high-acuity patients. Procedures commonly performed include permcath and port placement, thrombectomy, atherectomy, TEVAR/EVAR, TIPS, PE interventions, stroke, and trauma-related endovascular care. Expect to work with advanced devices and participate in critical procedures that impact patient outcomes.
