We are seeking an experienced social work professional to fill a contract position, covering a maternity leave for approximately 12 weeks. This full-time opportunity consists of up to 40 hours per week, providing vital support to students and staff during the August through November period.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid full school social work certification (must be submitted with application)
• Previous experience as a social worker in a school setting preferred

• Excellent communication skills and empathetic approach to student concerns
• Ability to adapt quickly and function independently

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver crisis intervention, counseling, and support for students and families
• Work closely with faculty, parents, and special education teams to implement individualized interventions
• Contribute to the development and monitoring of educational and behavioral plans
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per school and state guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, providing insight on students' progress and needs
