Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, and toileting.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in medical status.
• Provide post-operative, orthopedic, neuro-compromised, and cardiopulmonary patient care.
• Support patient safety during therapies including oxygen, IV infusion, traction, and tube feeding.
• Maintain patient rooms, including cleaning and linen changes.
• Sterilize equipment and supplies as needed.
• Foster a caring and respectful environment for patients, their families, and the care team.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Nurse Assistant (CNA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and patient-specific meal distribution.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard office technology is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to teamwork.

Schedule:

• 40 hours/week
• Evening Shift: 3 PM – 11 PM (rotating weekends and holidays)
• Night Shift: 11 PM – 7 AM (rotating weekends and holidays)
• Flexible scheduling options available
