Registered Nurse Job Details Location: Albany, NY 12208 (New York healthcare jobs) Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 8, 2025 – October 28, 2025) Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,540 per week Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit Employment Type: Travel RN assignment Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required EMR: Epic (Epic EMR experience required) L&D Registered Nurse Qualifications Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York State or compact license) Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Epic EMR experience required National Certification Corporation (NCC) or Intermediate AWHONN certification (issued within the past 3 years, or proof of class registration; certification required for compliance) Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred) Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong professionalism and communication skills L&D RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit Monitor maternal and fetal health, promptly recognizing and responding to complications Administer medications and assist with labor interventions as needed Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Accurately document all care in the Epic EMR system Educate patients and families on the labor process, postpartum care, and newborn care Maintain a safe, supportive, and compassionate clinical environment Take the next step in your nursing career with this rewarding travel RN job in Albany, NY.
