Join us in making a difference and let’s build transportation solutions that will enhance our communities!Garver seeks a MunicipalProject Manager to join our growing Transportation Team in Overland Park, KS or Kansas City, MO to continue the tradition of providing reputable service to our clients and adding to our award winning culture.Responsibilities of this role include:Project managementSub-consultant coordinationProject/task schedulingCivil DesignPlan production oversightPreparing cost estimatesQuality ControlTraining other engineersClient relationship buildingTechnical experience should include: Geometric design for roadways/intersections3D Design experienceDrainage designConstruction sequencing and traffic controlMarketing activities may include assisting in the production of proposals, as well as participation in interviews and other presentations.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited programLicensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Missouri and Kansas, or will have the ability to obtain reciprocityMinimum of six (6) years of relevant experiencePractical working knowledge of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Green Book, the Roadside Design Guide, and the Manual Uniform Traffic Control Device (MUTCD)Experience with AutoCad Civil 3D, Microstation, OpenRoads Designer or InRoads and/or other roadway design softwareStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong working knowledge of MS OfficePreferred Skills:Previous experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on Kansas City Metro and/or Missouri municipal clients3D Design experienceUtility Relocation Coordination ExperienceGrow With UsGarver offers its employees programs such as company-paid professional memberships, company support for industry licenses and continuing education opportunities that foster a progressive atmosphere.
