1 opening for 2nd shift: core hours – 14:30 -22:30 Mon-Fri 1 opening for 3rd Shift: core hours – 22:30 – 06:30 Sun-Thu Role Overview As a Distribution Center Supervisor , you will play a key role in leading third‑shift operations and driving improvements across safety, quality, labor efficiency, and productivity. This role offers the opportunity to apply experience gained from private industry, public sector, government, or military settings. You’ll collaborate with innovative teams worldwide and help optimize operations by leading personnel, managing labor performance, and implementing process improvements. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise 50+ hourly production employees on 3rd shift. Oversee daily routines aligned with the JDA Labor Management Standards to ensure optimal labor utilization. Monitor and analyze labor performance metrics and KPI dashboards to identify performance gaps and opportunities. Drive Safety, Quality, and Productivity process improvements within the DeKalb, IL distribution center. Manage shift‑level staffing assignments and task prioritization . Identify and lead Lean Six Sigma cost‑saving initiatives and facilitate Lean Tier meetings for the 3rd‑shift crew. Collaborate across multiple departments, shifts, and facilities to ensure operational alignment. Required Qualifications (Day‑One Requirements) High School Diploma or equivalent , completed and verified prior to start date. Three (3) years of leadership experience in Distribution, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing within a private, public, government, or military environment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Five (5) years of experience in Distribution, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing leadership. Three (3)+ years of experience working in an automated warehouse environment. Two (2)+ years of experience with Labor Management programs .
