As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, while also supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.

• Supervise and direct the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Make written and oral reports regarding resident care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as necessary, maintaining accurate records and charts.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, focusing on resident-centered care.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.

• Current CPR Certification is required.

• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
