The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the organization's core accounting operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and public company standards, and enhancing the accuracy and scalability of financial reporting processes. This role involves close collaboration with finance, audit, legal, and people-focused teams, and requires a hands-on leadership approach in a dynamic environment. Key responsibilities include overseeing the full general ledger close cycle, preparing and supervising financial reporting packages, managing equity-related accounting, and serving as the primary contact for both external and internal audit teams. Applicants for the Vice President, Controller position at the company must have an active CPA license, a Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field, and at least 15 years of progressive operational accounting experience. The role demands a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, public company reporting expectations, and internal control frameworks, as well as a proven track record in building and leading high-performing accounting teams. The ideal candidate will have prior experience at the vice president or corporate controller level, with a focus on audit review and financial oversight. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to drive process improvements in a high-growth, deadline-sensitive setting are essential.
