Job Description: - Hold shift accountability for delivering comprehensive obstetrical care during: - Antepartum - Intrapartum - Immediate postpartum - Neonatal phases - Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy. - Demonstrate: - Critical thinking skills - Scientific judgment - Leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care - Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education. - Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience. - Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
