EVENING AND WEEKEND Residential Counselor for TIME Homeless Shelters

Job Description

We are seeking Residential Counselors to join our Homeless Services team!

You will provide recovery-oriented rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities:

Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
Monitor Shelter activities
Assist with Nutrition
Provide Support to those in need with Respect and Dignity
Offer EMPATHETIC assistance
Participate and facilitate shelter activities
Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

Work designated shifts during the weekday or Weekends. Overnight Shifts are awake
Complete Wellness Checks and Ensure Safety at all times
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to build rapport with clients
Come with a compassionate, caring and supportive disposition
Celebrate differences and patriciate in training
