At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests.**THE JOB:**As the **Bar Manager** for **The Corner Store,** you will set and shape a distinctive, upscale vibe—driving a culture of hospitality, connection, and excellence for both guests and team members. The Bar Manager leads with style and intention, bringing direction and energy to the Beverage team in a way that reflects the MGM brand. They guide the Beverage Staff to hit both operational and financial goals for the venue. From curating exceptional guest experiences to building high-performing teams, they stay hands-on—monitoring performance, owning scheduling and development, and ensuring every detail of the space aligns with MGM Resorts’ elevated service standards. This role is all about creating memorable moments, delivering consistently high energy on the floor, and making sure every guest interaction feels next level. **THE DAY-TO-DAY:*** Responsible for monitoring of daily beverage operations, fiscal budgets, guest service standards, and execution of marketing strategies to produce both short-term and long-term profitability. Accountable for par levels for supplies, liquor, beer, wine and equipment, completing requisitions to replenish shortages or additional items needed for the anticipated business.* Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, work schedules, rules and regulations for the beverage staff.* Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and coach beverage staff for the efficient operation of the department. Drive employee engagement through coaching, training, and development.* Collaborate with Human Resources regarding employee relations.* Maintain the highest standards of health, sanitation and cleanliness in all areas of Beverage. Maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and drunk driving.* Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available in outlets, the particular characteristics and description of every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list, designated glassware and garnishes for drinks, all bar menu items, preparation method/time, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes, garnishes, presentation and prices.**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:*** 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience* Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement* Thrives in a fast‐paced, high‐volume environment, balancing operational precision with an authentic, memorable guest experience* Able to lead and mentor a team.* Equally strategic and hands-on, they identify challenges early and implement solutions swiftly.
