Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Land O' Lakes / Tampa FLPosition SummaryThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs, renovations, and ongoing maintenance across a portfolio of single-family rental homes. This position supports property operations by ensuring homes are safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents. The role contributes to resident satisfaction, asset preservation, and operational efficiency. It requires strong technical expertise, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in alignment with company objectives.Essential Job Functions1. Functional ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance across assigned propertiesDiagnose and complete repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general home systemsComplete and document work orders accurately and promptly using company-issued mobile devices2. Operational / Departmental SupportCoordinate with dispatch, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely service completionMaintain inventory of tools and supplies needed for daily maintenance activitiesSupport property readiness by assisting with renovations, turns, and quality control checksProvide a high level of customer service as the primary field representativePromote company values and maintain professionalism in all interactions3. Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local regulationsMaintain required documentation and reporting standardsIdentify and escalate compliance or safety risks as appropriateFollow OSHA and company safety standards; report unsafe conditions promptly4. Additional ResponsibilitiesMaintain a courteous and professional demeanor with residents, vendors, and colleaguesCurrently does not require on-call or emergency work, but may in the futurePerform other duties as assigned to support business objectivesPerformance Expectations & Key MetricsPerformance will be evaluated based on measurable outcomes aligned with company and departmental goals.
