Front Desk Receptionist

Responsibilities: • Greet patients warmly and ensure they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. • Manage incoming calls with professionalism, directing them to the appropriate team members or departments. • Schedule patient appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal use of clinic resources and time. • Maintain accurate patient records, updating information promptly to support seamless clinical operations. • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure patient needs are met and any concerns are addressed promptly. • Handle patient inquiries with empathy and clarity, providing information or directing them to the right resources. • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area, creating a positive first impression for all visitors and patients. Qualifications: • Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient flow. • Ability to communicate warmly and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare providers. • Proven track record of managing patient check-in and check-out processes with accuracy and efficiency. • Skill in verifying patient insurance eligibility, referrals, and required documentation. • Experience in handling patient payments, discussing outstanding balances, and maintaining confidentiality. • Ability to manage a multi-line phone system, route messages, and respond to patient inquiries promptly. • Proficiency in scheduling and rescheduling appointments, optimizing provider schedules, and managing cancellations and no-shows effectively. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. • Candidates must be willing to work at both our Austin and Leander clinic locations based on the physician's schedule and patient care needs. Compensation: $17 - $24 hourly
