Job Title

Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Nights

Location

Augusta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality, and compassionate care to PCU patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–1:5
• Perform and document required assessments and vital signs every shift, with vital signs monitored every 4 hours or more frequently based on patient condition
• Manage cardiac drips and insulin drips in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
• Conduct blood glucose checks as ordered and respond appropriately to results
• Operate unit equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Welch Allyn VS machines, bladder scanner, and vein finder
• Float to other units within areas of demonstrated competency as needed per staffing policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown setting
• Current ACLS certification
• Proficiency with cardiac drip and insulin drip management
• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Ability to wear required dress code: royal blue scrubs; no artificial or gel nails permitted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Alaris IV pumps and Welch Allyn vital signs equipment
• Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented unit environment
• Flexibility and preference for consecutive night shifts (3 in a row)
