Hours: Sundays, 8 AM - 7 PM (or until the last surgery is done)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and skilled Surgery Technician to join our amazing team at Guardian Veterinary Specialists where we make every day count for our patients! As a Sunday Surgery Technician: If you have a passion for surgery, working with animals, and want to be part of a collaborative, compassionate team, this is the perfect role for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Surgical Assistance: Assist our surgeons in performing a wide variety of emergency and specialty surgeries, including soft tissue, orthopedics, and trauma-related procedures.

• Prep Work: Help prepare patients for surgery, including anesthesia induction, surgical site prep, and sterile technique maintenance.

• Monitoring: Keep a close eye on patient vitals and anesthesia levels throughout the procedure, ensuring that our furry friends are safe and comfortable.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with our talented emergency doctors, surgical specialists, and other technicians to ensure each surgery goes smoothly and every patient gets top-notch care.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Experience : 1+ years of experience in veterinary surgery or emergency care (ideally in a specialty practice, but we’ll train the right person!)

• Certifications : LVT preferred

• Skills : Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment with a calm and steady hand.

• Detail-Oriented : Because every stitch counts!
