DGS Office of External Affairs

The Agency Budget Specialist I prepares budgets and reports for the Queen Anne's County Department of Health in Centreville, Maryland, and assists the Fiscal Administrator with budgetary issues. The position is Grade 14 and requires five years of budget preparation experience, though candidates may substitute relevant education or military service. Key qualifications: Five years of experience in budget preparation, presentation and execution Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with one year of budget experience (acceptable substitute) 30 credit hours of graduate education in accounting, business administration, economics, finance, political science or public administration (acceptable substitute) High-level proficiency in spreadsheet (Excel) and financial software Practical experience with budget management #J-18808-Ljbffr
