Job Title: System Administrator (Level 1)
Location: Washington, DC
Work Mode: Onsite 5 Days a Week (9am to 5pm EST)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Level 1 System Administrator to provide onsite technical support for end users and office systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows 11 installation, basic desktop and hardware troubleshooting, and support for collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Familiarity with AV conference room support and Zscaler is also important for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Perform basic Windows 11 installation, setup, and configuration on desktops and laptops
Provide Level 1 technical support for end-user systems and workplace technology
Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Teams, including user access and basic functionality problems
Support and troubleshoot AV conference room systems, including Xfinity-related connectivity or conferencing issues
Resolve OneDrive sync issues and assist users with file access problems
Provide basic support for SharePoint, including access, sync, and usage-related issues
Assist with Zscaler-related user connectivity and access troubleshooting
Perform basic hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and related devices
Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams when needed
Document incidents, resolutions, and support activities accurately
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience with Windows 11 installation and basic system configuration
Strong troubleshooting skills in a desktop support or system administration environment
Hands-on experience supporting:
Microsoft Teams
OneDrive
SharePoint
AV conference room technology
Basic understanding of Zscaler
Experience with hardware troubleshooting
Good communication and user support skills
Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Washington, DC
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in Level 1 IT support, desktop support, or junior system administration
Experience supporting office collaboration and conferencing environments
Ability to manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment
$62 - $70 per hour
