Job Description
The Inventory Specialist supports a busy parts and warehouse operation by organizing incoming parts, accurately pulling and staging orders, preparing shipments, and maintaining precise inventory records throughout the facility. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistent organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities

• Learn the warehouse and parts department layout, including all designated storage locations and bin assignments.
• Receive incoming parts and accurately put them away in the correct locations and assigned bins.
• Pick, pull, and stage parts for customer and internal orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepare parts and orders for shipment to customers, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Process and organize inventory transfers between locations, maintaining clear records of movement.
• Move throughout the warehouse to retrieve and put away inventory while following established procedures.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification to support accurate stock levels.
• Ensure parts are consistently stored and pulled from the correct locations to minimize errors.
• Help keep inventory areas clean, organized, and efficient to support smooth warehouse operations.
• Provide basic customer service and administrative support related to orders, parts, and inventory inquiries.
• Perform clerical and data entry tasks associated with inventory, shipping, and receiving as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, when required and in accordance with safety guidelines.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, parts, shipping and receiving, stocking, or order picking preferred.
• Ability to learn and remember part numbers, bin locations, and warehouse layouts.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple parts and orders simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Comfortable working on your feet and moving throughout the warehouse for most of the shift.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing 50+ pounds as needed.
• Basic data entry skills to update inventory and order information.
• Customer service skills to assist internal and external stakeholders with parts and order-related questions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in receptionist, administrative support, or clerical roles is beneficial.
• Experience in office management or administration is a plus.
• Order pulling experience in a warehouse or parts environment is preferred.
• Forklift driving experience is an advantage.
• Strong general organization skills and the ability to maintain orderly work areas.
• Comfortable providing customer service in a warehouse or parts setting.

Work Environment
This role is based in a parts and warehouse operation in Pasco and follows a MondayFriday schedule from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You work on your feet for most of the day, moving throughout the warehouse to handle parts and inventory. The environment is active and fast-paced, with regular lifting of items weighing 50+ pounds and the use of typical warehouse equipment, which may include forklifts. Work areas focus on organized storage, designated bin locations, and clear pathways to support efficient inventory flow.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PASCO, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
