Cardiology Technician
Essential Job Duties:
- Performs electrocardiograms (EKG's).
- Assists physicians with stress testing, coordinating nuclear imaging.
- Places and scans 24-48 hr. Holter Monitors and places and registers Event Recorders.
- Assimilates data for digital transfer and interpretation (i.e. EKGs, Stress Tests, and Holter Monitors).
- Assists with Phase II Cardiac Rehab exercise program.
- Maintains Cardiology Department's EMR.
- Completes other duties and special projects as assigned.
Job Specifications:
- Education: High School graduate
- Experience: Previous cardiology experience beneficial. Patient care experience required.
