Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with alternating weekends; compensatory day provided during the week for weekend days worked

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient acute care physical therapy evaluations at a rate of one completed evaluation per hour
• Provide daily treatments with an expectation of 10 completed treatments per 8-hour shift when applicable
• Treat a diverse adult patient population across telemetry, orthopedics, surgical, critical care, neurology, oncology, and general medical units within a Level III trauma center
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PTAs and rehabilitation aides
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Precept other staff as needed by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in the state of Texas
• Experience with or strong clinical background in adult acute care settings, including trauma and critical care
• Proficiency with or ability to learn Meditech EMR
• Ability to work alternating weekends as part of the standard schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level III trauma center or similar acute care environment
• Familiarity with high-volume evaluation settings and productivity expectations
• Experience working alongside PTAs and rehabilitation technicians in a team-based care model
