Full-Time Psych Nurse Practitioner: Spravato & TMS Treatment Center

Oasis Mental Health Centers is actively seeking to onboard a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for a Full-Time Position at our Fairfield Treatment Center. Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessment: For new patients, you may be tasked with conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including a review of medical and psychiatric history, to determine the appropriateness of Spravato and/or TMS treatment. Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized care plans, monitor treatment progress, and make adjustments as needed. Administration of Spravato: Oversee and administer Spravato (esketamine) treatments, ensuring adherence to REMS (Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy) program guidelines. Monitoring and Follow-Up: Closely monitor patients during treatment sessions for adverse reactions or side effects and provide follow-up care as necessary. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on the risks, benefits, and expectations of Spravato therapy, as well as other therapeutic options. Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaboration: Work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate interventions in the case of psychiatric emergencies or adverse reactions during treatment sessions. Patient Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for patient needs, ensuring respectful, compassionate, and confidential care. Qualifications: Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) with a specialization in Psychiatry. Licensure: Active and unrestricted Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license in NJ. Certification: Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in psychiatric care. Experience with esketamine, ketamine, or other advanced treatments for depression preferred (but not required). REMS Certification: Must hold an active DEA registration within New Jersey to be eligible for REM's certification & prescribing. Skills: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with treatment-resistant depression and/or mood disorders. Previous experience in a Spravato or TMS clinic.
