Occupational Therapist / OT

What you will receive: Flexible schedule created by you Paid per hour (not just per visit) Driving, travel, and mileage reimbursement Educational programs Growth and advancement opportunities Responsibilities Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans Regularly re‑assess the effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and educational resources Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services, and family members Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhance patient outcomes Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the state where practicing Current CPR certification A minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift 50 pounds; movements may involve lifting up to 100 pounds following safety procedures Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods Additional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and frequent positioning Health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on policy and regulations, to verify employee is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations #J-18808-Ljbffr BrightSpring Health Services
