Quality Engineer

SAP Business Technology Platform Quality EngineerWe are seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Quality Engineer to join our team. The BTP Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing a reusable approach to BTP Test Automation. You will be expected to understand and analyze the requirements and procedures of BTP Testing and create, execute, and optimize BTP Test Cases, Test Automation, and Automation Scripts. You will be operating from a third party perspective and therefore must have excellent problem-solving skills and need to be able to field sufficient soft skills to work with other teams and people without causing friction.Responsibilities:Design and implement a reusable approach to BTP Test Automation and the associated frameworkCoach and mentor others on the adoption of BTP Test Automation technologies and techniquesAnalyze and understand BTP Testing Procedures and RequirementsDevelop and execute BTP test plans, cases, and automation, including manual testing when requiredIdentify, document, and conduct follow-ups on bugs and quality issues. This includes utilizing logging, monitoring, and other tools to provide information upstreamRegularly revisit BTP test cases and strategy to incorporate the latest product functionality based on rapid release plans for a multitude of productsReporting on and documenting BTP testing status and resultsActing as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the use and troubleshooting of BTP servicesQualifications (Required):5+ years of experience in Test Automation3+ years of experience in cloud platform testing5+ years of experience with Java or related programming languages5+ years of experience with test management systemsExcellent organizational, communication, and time-management skillsKnowledge of Software Testing, Programming Languages, and Quality Assurance PrinciplesQualifications (Desired):3+ years of experience building, maintaining, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines3+ years of experience developing and/or operating multiple BTP + extensions and services from the technical side3+ years of experience using Playwright with Java1+ year of experience working with LLMs and Building Agents to integrate with development workflowsExperience working in an agile DevOps environmentExperience operating in AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with automated reportingExperience with ServiceNow, including building queries, automation flows, and dashboardsThe BTP Quality Engineer will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
