Concrete Cutting Trainee (Full-Time)

The ConcreteCuttingTrainee supportsexperiencedoperatorsbyperforminggenerallabordutieswhilegaininghands-ontrainingincoredrilling,concretesawing,cutting,andconcreteremoval.Thisentry-levelpositionisidealforindividualsseekingtobuildacareerintheskilledtrades,withopportunitiesforgrowthanddevelopment.Ifyou'rewillingtolearn,we'rewillingtotrain. DutiesandResponsibilities: Assistwithcutting,sawing,lifting,andcoredrillingofconcreteundersupervision. Operateandmaintaincompanyequipment,includingvehicles,toolsofthejobsuchas:diamondblades,flatsaws,coredrills,wallsaws,jackhammers,etc. Ensureregularinspection,basicmaintenance,security,andcleanlinessofallcompanyequipment. Followallsafetyprotocolsandguidelinestomaintainasafeworkingenvironment. Supportthesetupandbreakdownofjobsites,ensuringproperequipmentorganizationandreadiness. Communicateeffectivelywithteammembersandsupervisorstoensureprojectsuccess. Performotherdutiesasassignedbythesupervisor. AttentiontoDetail:Ensureprecisionintasksandadherencetoqualitystandards. Qualifications:NeedtoHaveandNicetoHave: Highschooldiploma/GED. Valid,unrestricteddriver'slicensewithcleandrivingrecordtobeabletooperatecompanyvehiclesandtobeplacedoncompanyautoinsurance. Previousworkexperienceinlaborroles,preferablyinconstruction,demolition,plumbing,orsimilarindustries. Familiaritywithwallsaws,coredrills,flatsaws,handsaws,ringsaws,and/orcompressortoolssuchasjackhammersispreferred. Experiencewithconstructionequipmentlikebobcats,backhoes,orrelatedishighlydesired. Solidmechanicalaptitudewiththeabilitytolearnequipmentoperationandmaintenance. Self-motivation,astrongworkethic,andtheabilitytoworkinchallengingconditions(e.g.,rain,cold,heat). Basicmathematicalskillsforaccuratemeasurementsandcalculations. Abilitytoliftandcarry50lbs.ormoreandmaintainmobilityduringtasks. Strongcommunicationskillsandtheabilitytofollowinstructionseffectively. Teamworkandcollaborationabilitiestosupportprojectobjectives. Displayaprofessionalandcourteousattitudetocoworkers,supervisorsandthegeneralpublicatalltimes Versatility,flexibility,andawillingnesstoworkwithinconstantlychangingprioritiesandsometimesconflictingdeadlines. Reliableandpunctualattendance. Selectedcandidatesforallpositionsmustsubmittoandsuccessfullypasspostofferpre-employmentdrug/alcoholscreen,backgroundcheckandmotorvehiclerecordscheck. PhysicalRequirements Prolongedperiodsofstanding,bending,lifting,climbing,stooping,twisting,andmanuallabor. Abilitytoliftandtransportheavyequipmentandmaterialsasrequiredupto50lbs. Toleranceforexposuretovariousweatherconditionsandenvironments. Mayberequiredtotraveltojobsitesorotherlocationsasnecessary.
