Qualifications:

We're looking for a Production Operator to support the manufacturing and repair of aerospace components in a fast-paced production environment.
This role performs a variety of production, cleaning, assembly, and processing tasks while following standardized work instructions, quality requirements, and safe work practices.

What You'll Be Doing

Cross-train and perform production operations across multiple manufacturing areas.
Use hand tools, power tools, machinery, and shop equipment to prepare, clean, process, repair, and assemble aerospace components.
Follow work instructions and procedures to cut, shape, bond, form, inject, cure, trim, drill, and repair composite and metal parts.
Perform chemical cleaning and surface preparation processes.
Conduct hand cleaning operations including acid etch, sanding, blending, and deburring.
Use measuring and inspection tools, including callipers, micrometres, gauges, scales, and tapes, to verify quality requirements.
Inspect and certify your own work in accordance with established standards.
Load, transport, and stage components throughout the manufacturing process.
Operate material handling equipment such as hoists, cranes, and industrial trucks as authorized.
Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and manufacturing standards.

What We're Looking For

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Ability to clearly communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding work instructions.
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and manufacturing machinery.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and manufacturing documentation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn multiple manufacturing processes.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have

Manufacturing or production experience.
Autobody, mechanical, assembly, or industrial repair experience.
Experience using hand tools, gauges, and inspection equipment.
Experience working from written work instructions and standardized procedures.
Experience operating cranes, hoists, or material handling equipment.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Manufacturing environment with exposure to industrial equipment, chemicals, machinery, and production processes.
Regular standing, walking, lifting, reaching, bending, and repetitive hand movements throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs from floor to waist and from waist to shoulder level.
Ability to pull up to 40 lbs.
Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety requirements.

Weare searching for:

GRIT/SANDBLAST, PLATING, AIRFLOW, BLENDERS,MASKERS, BRAZE, CHEM STRIP, BONDING and TEARDOWN in the following departments: Stators, Vanes, Fan Cases, and Composites.
As a Production Operator, you will need to be able to work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safework practices.

Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:

HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
You must be able to read, write and use work instruction sheets. Mechanical background would be helpful.
Ability to use hand tools and gauges.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1 Year of Manufacturing/Warehouse experience
Ability to read, interpret, and communicate work instructions and specifications
Ability to sit/stand/bend/twist/lift +25lbs for periods of 8-hours, or longer
Ability to work OT when necessary, including weekends

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in assembly and disassembly of aircraft engine parts in preparation for repair processes.
Utilize chemical cleaning procedures.
Perform hand cleaning to include steam cleaning, acid etch, sanding, blending, brazing and de-burring of aircraft engine parts to removeforeign elements from parts.
Perform minor repairs or modifications of various aircraft engine parts using various shop machines and equipment.
Set up and operate equipment to test engine components to determine serviceability conditions.
De-bur various engine parts.
Repair components without distorting original configuration or tolerances.
Use precision measurement equipment to determine areas of re-work.
Perform duties in accordance with technical orders, Process Routing Work Instructions (PRWIs), blueprints, sketches, sample parts and specialized fixtures.
