Exciting Opportunity for a Neuro Tele RN!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- 1st Timers Welcome!
- Floating between units: Yes
- On-call requirement: No
- Weekend shifts: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
- Patient Ratios: Night - 1:4
- Special Requirements:
- 48 hours approved
- Hospital Type: Short Term Acute Care
- Level II Trauma Center
- Department Uniform/Dress:
- Licensed Personnel: Solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire (colored piping allowed, print tops not acceptable)
- Unlicensed Personnel: Solid hunter green uniforms or scrub attire (print tops not acceptable)
- Parking: Free in any unrestricted space; please use designated Employee/Visitor Parking

Facility Highlights:
- Total Staffed Beds: 379
- Daily Census: 27
- Number of Beds in Unit: 29
- Special Procedures/Unit Details:
- Dedicated Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
- Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Interdisciplinary team support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, etc.
- Patient Diagnoses:
- TIA/Stroke
- Neurosurgical Patients (ACDF, TLIF, XLIF, craniotomy)
- Current Electronic Health Record: EPIC

Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Patient ratio experience: 4
- Community Hospital experience preferred
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Skills:
- Telemetry
- Dysrhythmia Management
- Blood Product Administration
- Central Line and Peripheral Line Care/Management
