Event & Continuing Medical Education Manager Fast‑paced, professional, multi‑association management firm seeks an Event & Continuing Medical Education Manager. Duties include managing all aspects of seminars, conferences, and programs for State and National audiences. Responsibilities include: Site selection and venue sourcing Hotel contract negotiation and management Budget development and expense tracking Planning and production timelines Exhibit and sponsor management Speaker logistics and hospitality Registrations, scheduling, on‑site management Post‑event evaluation, reporting, and reconciliation Liaison with internal and external educational and professional organizations to explore new continuing education initiatives Coordinate continuing education (CE) application and approval processes for outside entities Work with stakeholders to meet client goals and objectives Ensure exceptional attendee and client experience throughout all stages of event planning and execution Qualifications: 3‑5 years of experience in association event management High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams); experience with Canva content design is a plus Proficiency in event management software, virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom), and LMS or CE tracking systems Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines Extreme attention to detail Physical ability to lift and carry 30 pounds Ability to travel by air and automobile Ability to exercise independent judgment Customer service oriented Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with co‑workers, members, contractors, and event attendees Positive attitude with respect to customers and potential customers Valid California driver’s license Ability to work weekends and evenings Benefits: Competitive salary ($80,000‑$95,000 per year) and attractive benefits package.
