Dental Assistant

Job Description Manhattan’s phenomenal dental office, Dentistry By Design, is currently seeking a full-time, long‑term, bright and shiny dental assistant to join our team! In addition to providing outstanding dental care and patient experience to our family of patients, we strive to create a positive work atmosphere of cooperation through team‑building and leadership. Responsibilities: Preparing patients for dental work. Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures. Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary. Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary. Providing great patient care. Recording treatment information in patient records. Qualifications: Candidates must have a positive outlook, a stable personal life, a genuine caring attitude towards others, and be able to work hard with a commitment to always going the extra mile for our patients or team members. A minimum 2‑3 years of experience preferred. Certification in the use of nitrous oxide, and certification in coronal scaling will have preference although we are willing to train the right person.
