Location

New York | Inpatient / Outpatient Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Expected 36 hours/week | 4x10 or 3x12 shifts (7:00am–5:30pm or 7:00am–7:30pm) | Weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback per unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and pediatric cardiac patients in a high-volume Cath Lab and EP Lab environment across 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs
• Assist with and support a comprehensive range of cardiac interventional procedures including TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman , PCI, CTO, Pericardiocentesis, and vascular interventions
• Manage and monitor patients requiring Mechanical Circulatory Support (ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, LVAD)
• Perform and interpret Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics monitoring and assessment
• Deliver pre- and post-procedural care within the holding area, collaborating closely with CVT staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Participate in on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities as determined by unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Moderate sedation training and dysrhythmia/telemetry competency
• Demonstrated experience with TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures
• Proficiency with Structural Heart procedures: CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA
• Mechanical Circulatory Support experience required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD
• Critical care or cardiac experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiovascular certification or RCES preferred
• Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and associated equipment
• EP Lab experience
