Location: Winton, CAPosition: Production SupervisorSummary of FunctionsLead effective daily operations and develop a highly skilled plant operations team. Support the departmental goals of efficiency, high yields, quality production, and equipment operation.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesDirectly manage operational employees through functional leads, establishing daily objectivesOwn all frontline employee responsibilities, including hiring, performance reviews, rewards, and disciplineManage daily processes, including:Establishing operational procedures (SOPs)Setting workload requirements, work schedules, and task-level assignmentsIdentifying training needs and certification requirementsEnsure safe operations at all timesMaintain composure in stressful situations, make sound decisions, and escalate to the management team as neededMotivate employees toward higher achievementTreat all employees fairly and with consistencySupport the development of a process improvement programManage to KPI standards established by the Operations ManagerRecognize trends and indicators and react proactively to address potential problemsEnsure employees maintain industry guidelines for GMPsProficiency in English required; Spanish language skills preferredComputer proficientFood Safety Requirements/Responsibilities xhyhwjd Comply with all plant, state, and federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulationsComply with GMPs in the plantAssist in the maintenance of the food safety and quality systemLearn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.QualificationsH.S Diploma or GEDSupervisory experienceExperience in food manufacturing; high-volume liquid processing, beverage, or related wet-process environments strongly preferred
