Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an urban, Level I Trauma ED, and a preference for working in a teaching hospital environment. Candidates must be prepared to handle a fast-paced setting with a variety of patient age groups.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: 10/5/2026
• Shift: 3x12 Nights
• Patient Ratios: 1:4
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating Requirement: Yes
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2116.8 (negotiable)
• Charting System: Epic

Responsibilities

• Manage emergency care for patients experiencing a wide range of illnesses and injuries
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Perform advanced interventions in a trauma setting
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
• Assess patient conditions and triage priority of care

Qualifications

Required:

• 1 year of experience in an urban, Level I Trauma ED
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Valid IL RN license
• Experience with Epic charting system

Preferred:

• Certifications: TNCC, CPI
• Experience in a teaching hospital environment
