Program Manager

Baxter Talent is seeking a Program Manager for a military avionics OEM. Our client is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the execution of complex aerospace and defense product development programs from concept through production. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, driving program performance across engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and contracts while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities: Lead the full lifecycle execution of multiple product development programs, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and customer satisfaction. Manage cross-functional teams spanning engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, operations, and contracts. Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and executive status reports. Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery. Serve as the primary customer interface for program execution, contract modifications, and ongoing communications. Coordinate engineering development, qualification, verification, and production readiness activities. Support proposal development, project estimates, and new business pursuits. Manage change control, configuration management, and program documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Track financial performance, resource utilization, and program metrics while providing regular updates to leadership. Ensure compliance with customer requirements, contractual obligations, export regulations, and applicable quality and security standards. Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders while driving continuous improvement across assigned programs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline Military or defense program development experience. Personal ownership of program deliverables on a real certification effort under DO-254 and DO-178C. U.S. person status per ITAR.
