Licenses/Certifications: NY State License, BLS Certification, Board Certified (preferred)

Experience: Minimum 3 years recent experience in gastroenterology or internal medicine

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Rate: $111.39

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and manage medical problems of adult patients in gastroenterology/internal medicine settings
• Request consultations from other specialties as needed
• Provide education on preventive care, medical issues, and medication use
• Document assessments, diagnoses, treatments, outcomes, and referrals accurately in EPIC
• Prescribe and monitor medications relevant to patient diagnoses
• Facilitate high-priority and complex case referrals to collaborating physicians
• Provide medical and emergency interventions as appropriate

What You Need

Required:

• NY State License
• AHA BLS Certification
• Minimum of 3 years of recent relevant experience
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferred:

• Board Certification in relevant specialty
• Epic Electronic Medical Records experience
