Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist III - Float at Rocky Mount, VA! This is a 6 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Pay Highlights

$21-23/hour (Based on years of experience & education)

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Verify patient demographics and obtain patient signatures after venipuncture to ensure specimen labeling accuracy.
  • Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection following established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and required records.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while creating a positive patient experience.
  • Travel to multiple Patient Service Centers (PSCs) and physician office locations with minimal notice.
  • Assist in maintaining workflow efficiency in high-volume environments.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required

  • Geriatric collections
  • Capillary collections

Note: Local candidates within 20-25 miles are eligible.
