Job Details Position: ICU Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro ICU Employment Type: Travel RN Setting: Acute Care ICU Location: Falls Church, VA Start Date: 07/27/2026 End Date: 10/24/2026 Contract Length: 13 weeks Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday Floating: May float to Neuro IMC as needed Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830-$1,930 Job Requirements Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience required Neuro ICU experience strongly preferred CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification preferred Experience with Epic EMR preferred Ability to work rotating day/night shifts and meet weekend and holiday expectations Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-acuity critical care environment Responsibilities Provide high-quality critical care nursing for neurocritical care patients in an ICU setting Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond quickly to evolving clinical needs Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective treatment plans Administer medications and therapies according to established protocols and nursing best practices Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Support safe patient transfers and provide coverage in the Neuro IMC unit when needed Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach while delivering compassionate care Apply now for this Travel ICU Registered Nurse opportunity in Falls Church, VA and join a dedicated critical care team today.
