Catering Sales Manager!

Job Description Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront, a full-service hotel, is seeking an experienced Catering Sales Manager to contribute to room revenue and food & beverage services in their designated market(s). The candidate will solicit and manage all accounts within their market segments, prospect and close assigned accounts/territories to positively impact hotel revenues, and work toward meeting or exceeding goals. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner. Listen to, understand, and clarify concerns raised by employees and guests. Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner. Maximize efforts toward productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions. Previous Sales and Catering experience in hospitality, or a related field, is required. This is a full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits available. Long hours are sometimes required. All applicants are subject to a background check. Qualifications College coursework in a related field helpful. Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required.
