Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2475.20/week - Job Summary: The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room provides specialized perioperative care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. They ensure patient safety, compliance with protocols, and effective coordination among surgical team members. Responsibilities: Assess patients' health status and prepare them for surgery. Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgical team. Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes during procedures. Maintain sterile field and ensure adherence to infection control standards. Document all patient interactions and surgical events accurately. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Qualifications: Valid RN license in the required state or jurisdiction. Proven experience in operating room nursing or perioperative care. Knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques. Strong assessment skills and ability to respond quickly to emergent situations. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
