Our team is committed to dignity, respect, and individualized care for every client we serve.Job SummaryNeulife Rehabilitation of Florida is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to provide therapeutic services to clients receiving behavioral health treatment. This role focuses exclusively on direct client care and does not include supervisory duties. The ideal candidate is client-focused, ethical, and passionate about helping individuals improve their mental health and overall quality of life.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide individual and group counseling sessions in accordance with treatment plansConduct psychosocial assessments, screenings, and clinical documentationDevelop, implement, and update individualized treatment plansMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical recordsCollaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team membersSupport clients in developing coping strategies and recovery skillsAdhere to all ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and state regulationsParticipate in required meetings and trainingsQualificationsMaster 's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related fieldActive or eligible Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Registered Intern)Experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment preferredStrong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skillsBenefitsFleixble Scheduling Onsite DaycareHealth, dental, and vision insurance options, 401kPaid time off (PTO) and holidaysProfessional development and training opportunitiesSupportive and team-oriented work environmentCompensation $24-$38.50
