Demolition Laborer

• Demolition tasks — break, saw, and dismantle concrete, drywall, and other building materials
• Debris removal to keep job sites clean and safe
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Opportunity to operate large equipment such as skid steers and loaders
• Lift, carry, and move materials, tools, and supplies
• Dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel
• Follow all SOPs during demolition and cleanup
• Work closely with your crew and Foreman to complete tasks efficiently and safely
• Maintain compliance with OSHA , EPA , and all federal, state, and local regulations
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
• Complete assigned projects and additional tasks as needed
• Travel out of town as required

• 1+ year of construction experience
• Experience with hand and power tools
• DBIDS in hand and REAL ID
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments

• General labor
• Jackhammer operation
• Demolition experience
• Concrete work

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portsmouth, VA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Portsmouth,VA.
