Retail Pricing Specialist - Host Office

Town & Country Super Market, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Retail Pricing Specialist to join our Host Office team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support our 30 grocery stores with retail pricing management using BRdata back-office software. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, teamwork, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel. Key Responsibilities Pricing Management: Maintain and manage accurate pricing and cost information across all stores. Promotional and Zone Pricing: Implement various promotional pricing strategies and manage multiple zone pricing by store or vendor. Label and Sign Printing: Print and distribute shelf labels and signs. Pricing Comparisons: Conduct Host to Store Pricing Comparisons to ensure consistency and accuracy. Communication: Answer and return emails and calls in a timely manner, handling or routing them appropriately. Software Proficiency: Utilize BRdata software, Excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs to perform job functions effectively. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve pricing discrepancies and issues. Organization: Maintain organized records and documentation related to pricing and promotions. Team Collaboration: Work closely with store operations, vendors, and other team members to ensure seamless pricing operations. Professionalism: Demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and team-building skills in all interactions. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Experience: Previous experience in retail, retail pricing, or a related field is beneficial. Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Excel and general computer skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, etc.). Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Personal Attributes: Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with others. Ability to learn and grasp new concepts and methods quickly. Maintain professionalism and enthusiasm in a fast-paced environment. Working Conditions Primarily office-based. Regular use of computer and office equipment. Frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
