Candidate Pay Rate: $55.61 ($7.5/hr taxable + $48.11/hr non-taxable)

Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult and older adult patients on a 32-bed Surgical Acute Care unit
• Manage a 1:5 patient assignment with a focus on trauma patients and acute care needs
• Administer Heparin drips and other acute medications as ordered
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient recovery and discharge planning
• Promote patient safety and mobility using gait belts, geriatric chairs, and other specialized equipment

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must have documented med/tele experience
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• Trauma care and acute medication administration experience essential
• Skilled Nursing, Rehab, or prior NICHE training is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced unit with a diverse patient population
