Company Description LivingStrong-Training provides personalized fitness coaching through a combination of in-gym and outside-of-gym training to help clients meet their individual health and strength goals. In the gym, coaches focus on targeted strength training and structured programs tailored to each client. Outside the gym, clients are supported in integrating training principles into daily life, with coaches offering accountability, motivation, and ongoing guidance. All sessions are private or in small groups to create an accepting, energized environment free from judgment. This approach empowers clients to perform at their best and achieve sustainable results. Role Description The Certified Fitness Trainer is a part-time or full-time, on-site role based in Holland, MI. The trainer will design and deliver individualized and small group fitness programs that align with each client’s goals, focusing on strength training, functional movement, and overall wellness. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting fitness assessments, leading training sessions, demonstrating safe and effective exercise techniques, and monitoring client progress. The trainer will provide ongoing coaching and motivation, educate clients on lifestyle and habit changes outside of the gym, and maintain accurate training records. The role also involves fostering a welcoming, judgment-free environment, collaborating with other coaches, and supporting client retention and engagement. Qualifications Strong skills in Fitness Instruction and Fitness Training, including program design, exercise demonstration, and safety monitoring. Experience with the Fitness Industry, particularly in small-group or private training environments. Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and support clients of diverse backgrounds and fitness levels. Current certification as a fitness trainer or personal trainer (e.g. NASM, ACSM, or equivalent); CPR/AED certification required or obtainable shortly after hire. Knowledge of strength training, functional training, and basic nutrition and wellness principles. Ability to motivate clients, hold them accountable, and adapt coaching style to individual needs and goals. Strong organizational skills, reliability, and professionalism in maintaining schedules, records, and a clean training environment. Prior experience in a gym or training studio setting is preferred; willingness to participate in ongoing education and skills development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
