Pay Rate: $19.00-$20.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a high-volume pharmacy environment. The Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, packing orders, maintaining patient records, and providing quality customer service.

The ideal candidate must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting high-volume production expectations and following pharmacy laws, safety procedures, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and fill prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Accurately process and package prescription orders.
• Assist with medication preparation and dispensing activities.
• Work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy environment , with the ability to fill approximately 120 prescriptions per hour .
• Ensure prescriptions are properly packed and prepared for distribution.
• Maintain accurate patient and prescription records.
• Follow all applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working at a high production volume.
• Work effectively as part of a pharmacy team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Required Qualifications

• Current Texas Pharmacy Technician License required.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume pharmacy environment.
• Ability to consistently meet a production pace of approximately 120 prescriptions per hour .
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stand and remain active for approximately 8 hours per shift .
• Ability to pack and prepare prescriptions for shipment or distribution.
• Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 30 pounds .
• Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Strong reliability, teamwork, and accountability.

Work Environment

This is an onsite, Monday–Friday position with a consistent 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule . Weekends are off.

The role requires working in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy where accuracy, productivity, and attention to detail are essential.
