Compensation Analyst

Akkodis is Seeking a Compensation Analyst for location of Portland, OR. This is a 3-month contract Position. Ideally looking for a candidate with experience in Healthcare Industry Pay Range: $40 - $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors Your Responsibilities will Include: The Compensation Analyst provides professional-level support in the development, administration, analysis, and maintenance of the client's compensation programs . Responsible for job analysis, job classification reviews, workforce management support, compensation systems maintenance, and compensation documentation. Partners closely with HR Business Partners and HR teams to provide guidance on compensation policies, practices, and pay-related decisions. Acts as a key resource for compensation administration, compliance, and compensation-related projects. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience). Minimum of 2 years of HR administration experience. Knowledge of HR principles, policies, and practices. Experience with compensation programs, including: Job classifications Salary surveys Compensation structures Pay administration practices Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding employee information. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, implement, and complete small projects independently. Preferred Qualifications Experience with compensation administration activities. Experience working with union contracts and collective bargaining agreements. Key Responsibilities Compensation Consultation, Review & Analysis Consult with managers and HR staff to create and revise job descriptions. Draft position descriptions when required. Research market data and internal benchmarks to recommend job classifications and salary grades. Provide compensation guidance related to: New hire offers Job reclassifications Internal career development Pay equity reviews Merit increases Conduct compensation analysis, including compa-ratio and internal equity reviews. Interpret and communicate compensation practices, policies, and guidelines. Compensation Administration Review and process compensation-related requests, including: New positions Special pay adjustments One-time payments Serve as a technical resource for compensation policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Provide consultation regarding internal guidelines, union classifications, contract language, and compensation-related regulations. Maintain compensation-related data within HRIS systems. Support job creation, position management, and compensation plan maintenance. Systems & Process Support Participate in the ongoing review and improvement of compensation processes, tools, and policies. Maintain job documentation, job descriptions, compensation databases, and salary-grade structures. Develop ad hoc reports and compensation-related analyses. Support Oracle system maintenance, enhancements, and compensation-related system initiatives. Serve as a point of contact for compensation system requirements and functionality. Project & Program Support Support and/or lead compensation-related projects, including: Annual Merit Administration Process Across-the-Board Salary Increase Programs Collective Bargaining Implementation Salary Structure Adjustments Personnel Action/NOA Creation and Processing Additional Information Primarily supports internal HR, management, and employee compensation functions.
