Personal Lines Account Advisor

Currently seeking a Personal Lines Account Advisor for an exciting opportunity at the Starke Agency , located in Montgomery and Auburn, AL. The ideal candidate will be well organized, motivated to succeed, and work well in a team environment. A hybrid work schedule is offered after training is completed.

Duties:

• Perform day-to-day customer and policy service on accounts
• Develop, quote, and process additional lines of coverage for existing customers.
• Remarket existing Personal Lines customers as needed
• Maintain, review, and update Expiration Lists monthly for renewals, processing renewals and updating policy information as necessary
• Process endorsements for customers and maintain suspense system for follow-up
• Provide prompt, professional, courteous service to customers
• Assist other Personal Lines teammates (and claims) as necessary during vacation, illness, etc.
• Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills and continuing education requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, required
• Previous insurance experience, preferred
• Active P&C license, or obtain within 90 days, required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, required
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, required
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
• Experience with EPIC or insurer websites, a plus
