Schedule Full-Time 40-50 hours per week Paid Time Off Referral Program Growth Plan Company Merchandise Company Events & Outings Requirements Strong accounting and finance chops, not just admin Proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop now, Online later) and ideally has done a Desktop to Online migration Service Autopilot or ServiceTitan experience a big plus (we run SA today, moving to ST next year) Comfortable building budgets, forecasts, and KPI dashboards from scratch Trades, construction, landscaping or home services background is a plus Detail-oriented, organized, can hold others accountable Can present financial insights to leadership and push back when needed Construction or home services experience strongly preferred (job costing in this industry is its own discipline) Fluent with AI tools for analysis, reporting, automation Track record managing at least one direct report Personality Traits Reads P&Ls for fun Tells uncomfortable truths backed by numbers Pushes back on the CEO when numbers don't support a decision Connects financial numbers to operational reality Responsibilities Oversee payroll accuracy, compliance, and processing. Execution handled by the bookkeeper/payroll specialist. Own AR/AP oversight, aging, and collections strategy. Day-to-day processing handled by the bookkeeper. Lead our migration from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online (planned ~8 months out) Build and maintain our annual budget, cash flow forecasts, and KPI reporting (GP by service line, close rates, AR aging, labor efficiency) Variance analysis: budget vs actual, flagging issues early Own the financial side of the ServiceTitan migration, including GL mapping, job costing, invoicing workflows, and reporting. Monthly close in 10 days with P&L by service line Job costing: pre-job estimate vs post-job actual on every install over a threshold 13-week rolling cash flow forecast Banking and lender relationship management, line of credit, loan covenant compliance Strategic finance: pricing analysis, comp plan modeling, capex ROI, path to $100M modeling Manages the bookkeeper and payroll function Tax planning coordination with outside CPA Working Conditions Team outings, growth opportunities, company perks, referral bonuses, and a culture where hard work gets recognized and rewarded. #J-18808-Ljbffr
