Job Title: Registered Nurse - CVOR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required, preferably with experience circulating complex cardiac cases, thoracic, and vascular surgeries. License: Must hold an active RN license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS - must be AHA certified. Must-Have: Must be able to circulate complex cardiac cases, thoracic, and vascular surgeries. Must be able to scrub general OR cases including surgical oncology, colorectal, and bariatric procedures. Experience with CABG, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, valve surgeries, and heart and lung transplants is required. Description: This position involves working in a cardiovascular operating room and general operating room. The shift will consist of three 12-hour days from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM. On-call duties will be required, with one weekend of call every four weeks. Holiday on-call may also be necessary. Candidates will be expected to circulate some of the most complex cardiac surgeries as well as scrub general procedures. Experience with high-acuity cases and the ability to manage intraoperative dynamics are essential. The facility operates as a teaching institution and maintains a high standard of patient care with a focus on trauma and surgical excellence. Travelers should be prepared for possible assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which lasts from June to November. The role requires attendance at all pre-start compliance meetings and completion of necessary documentation ahead of the start date.
