Phlebotomist III - Floater

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Pay Rate: $28/hr

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 6:30pm (up to 8 hours per day; flexible scheduling within these hours; ability to float within a 30-mile radius)

This role plays a key part in delivering accurate, timely diagnostics while ensuring a positive patient experience. As a floater, you'll bring flexibility and expertise to multiple sites, helping maintain continuity of care and supporting teams wherever the need is greatest.

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric

• Prepare and process specimens accurately in accordance with established procedures

• Verify patient information, ensure proper labeling, and obtain required signatures

• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients during procedures

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment

• Travel to and support multiple Patient Service Centers and in-office locations as needed

• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records

• Collaborate with team members and demonstrate leadership behaviors in daily activities

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Phlebotomy experience (minimum 3 years), including pediatric and geriatric collections

• Strong phlebotomy technique and ability to work in a high-volume environment

• Previous experience in a Patient Service Center setting (preferred)

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and travel on short notice

• Data entry and basic computer skills

• Ability to meet compliance requirements
