Contract Management Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the legal and technology sectors, is seeking a Contract Management Specialist to join their dynamic team. As a Contract Management Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Legal department supporting strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, aligning successfully with the organization’s goals for value creation and risk mitigation. Job Title: Contract Management Specialist Location: Charlotte, NC Pay Range: $50 What's the Job? Lead end-to-end sourcing and contracting activities for direct and indirect goods and services supporting the Legal function. Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and ongoing relationships to optimize spend and create value. Develop sourcing strategies for various categories, contributing to savings targets and supplier performance objectives. Analyze contract data, market conditions, and business objectives to identify cost-saving opportunities. Negotiate AI, generative AI usage rights, and address data processing, security, and compliance requirements. What's Needed? Experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret contract data and market trends. Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. Knowledge of AI, data security, and legal data management practices is a plus.
